 PietersitePIETERSITE- “King’s Mineral.” This mixite group mineral contains copper, potassium, and thallium. Pietersite is a breccia cemented together with quartz our of falcon’s eye and tigers eye, this displaying a patched pattern of crocidolite fibres. It is colored mostly a rich, deep and flashy blue with golden/yellow mix. Pietersite has only been found recently in the dessert of Namibia and was given the name of it’s discover, Sid Pieters.
